This post and the podcast, is based on another post, which I meantioned while prompting with Gemini:  https://robvanlinda.digital/rag-ai-task-based-hiring-the-future-of-job-ads-that-actually-make-sense/

In Germany, I hear the phrase, “You’re learning too much.”

Honestly, I can’t think of anything more absurd.

In a world where technology, business models, and entire industries are changing every month, continuous learning isn’t a weakness—it’s a survival strategy. It’s the engine that drives innovation and keeps you ahead of the curve.

That’s why over the past few years, I’ve built a portfolio that’s more than just a resume. It’s a testament to the belief that the most valuable skill you can have is the ability to adapt and grow.

Some might look at my collection of diverse skills and call it chaos. I call it a fertile ground for creativity. For example, while others are still debating the necessity of prompt engineering, I’m already building tools that teams can use today. While HR gets lost in keyword SEO for job ads, I’m writing about task-based hiring and developing prototypes for AI-RAG solutions.

My belief is simple:

  • Transformation only succeeds when you turn knowledge into action.
  • Agility isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a living mindset.
  • AI isn’t a hype cycle; it’s a powerful tool—if you use it creatively and with a human-centric approach.

The ones who call this “too much” haven’t yet understood how the world works.

For me, it’s exactly right.

What are your thoughts on this? Is intellectual chaos a strength or a weakness in today’s professional landscape?
