Rebooting My Site: AI-First, No-Nonsense, Built with Vibe Coding

TL;DR
I’m rebuilding my site to focus purely on AI: Custom GPTs, prompt engineering playbooks, and practical demos (including HeyGen videos with my avatar/voice). I built a lean, one-page WordPress theme (hybrid, not FSE-chaos) using “vibe coding” with an auto-generated section nav, GDPR-safe embeds, and zero fluff. Germany needs more hands-on AI evangelism; this is my contribution.

Why I’m Doing This

I’ve published over 120 posts across agility, innovation, digitalisation, and AI. Useful, but too broad. When people ask, “Rob, what do you actually do right now?” the answer is: AI—strategy, custom GPTs, and applied automation.

So I’m focusing this site on the future:

  • Custom GPTs I’ve built and use in real work.
  • Prompt Engineering playbooks you can copy and adapt.
  • Video demos with my HeyGen avatar/voice to make things concrete.
  • Workshops & talks for leaders and teams who want outcomes, not buzzwords.

Context matters: Germany’s AI job market isn’t exactly booming. That’s not a reason to wait—it’s a reason to lead. I’m Dutch, I live in Berlin, and I’m allergic to overcomplication and performative digitalisation. If we want momentum, we need working examples, not just “innovation theater.”

How I Built It (So It Stays Simple)

I rebuilt the site with vibe coding—fast, iterative, outcome-first development with AI assistance. No 4-week design sprints. No 30 plugins. Just shipping.

Architecture (hybrid, on purpose):

  • Classic PHP theme for a fixed, stable layout.
  • Gutenberg only for content (Sections). No Site Editor template drama.
  • Sections = a custom post type. Add, order, and publish. The theme generates the one-page layout and the off-canvas navigation automatically from your section titles.
  • Sticky/shrinking header, smooth scrolling, back-to-top. Minimal CSS, accessible interactions.
  • Legal (GDPR) ready: I use an EU-based GDPR plugin and click-to-load video embeds—no calls to third parties until the visitor consents.

Why hybrid? Because “flexible” often means “fragile.” I want a site I (and clients) can trust under pressure—no mysterious “unexpected/invalid block” warnings. Content writers should write. The layout should just work.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Custom GPTs
Short pages for each GPT: what it does, when to use it, and a straight link to try it. No hype, no NDA-bait.
(I’ll add the first batch soon: NO-BS Agility, Transformation Guide, Scrum Expert, GRIT Navigator, plus a creativity/human-centered design GPT.)
  • Prompt Engineering Playbooks
Repeatable patterns, focused on outcomes: discovery, estimation, workshop facilitation, stakeholder comms, QA checks, risk framing—each with a copy-paste starter and guardrails.
  • Demos & Tutorials
Short HeyGen explainers (my avatar + voice clone), demos of workflows, and small code snippets where relevant. Always GDPR-friendly: click to load, or read the transcript.
  • Workshops & Speaking
Hands-on sessions for teams: from “idea to working prototype” using AI, or “replace 3 hours of manual reporting with 10 minutes of automation.”

Who This Is For

  • Leaders who need AI outcomes (not slide decks).
  • Product, ops, and transformation folks who care about time-to-value.
  • Teams who want to learn AI safely, responsibly, and by doing.

If you’re looking for “AI theater,” this isn’t it. If you want shipping speed, maintainability, and measurable impact—welcome.

My Rules for This Site

  1. Minimalism > Aesthetics gymnastics. Three colors, two fonts, lots of whitespace.
  2. Performance and accessibility first. No JavaScript confetti.
  3. GDPR by design. EU-based tools, consent-first embeds, clear disclosures.
  4. Working code over words. Demos beat declarations.
  5. Teach what I use. If I wouldn’t deploy it, I won’t recommend it.

What’s Next

  • Publish the first set of Custom GPT pages with one-liner value props and try links.
  • Release 5 prompt playbooks I use weekly.
  • Post 3 HeyGen explainers (short, useful, captioned).
  • Open up a newsletter for practical AI patterns and case notes (monthly, not spammy).

Why This Matters (Especially Here)

We don’t need another “innovation hub.” We need repeatable systems people can run on Monday morning. I’ve seen too many teams paralyzed by tool sprawl, compliance fear, and process worship. The antidote is clarity, simplicity, and small shipped wins. That’s what this site is designed to deliver.

Want In?

  • Try a GPT, steal a playbook, or book a workshop.
  • If you’re a leader in Germany who wants to move faster (without breaking trust or the law), let’s talk.
  • If you disagree with something here—great. Tell me why. We’ll test it.
